Clare, a native of California, recently moved to the Columbia River Gorge when she and her husband (born in Klamath Falls) fell in love with the area after a visit in 2009.
Clare is a certified manual therapist from the Stanley Paris Institute, A Fellow with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and most recently taught in the professional physical therapy program as a full professor at CSU Sacramento for 20 years.
She taught the musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment course for 15 of the 20 years at Sacramento State. She continued her PT practice at Remedy Rehabilitation doing outpatient manual therapy and Home Health for a variety of patient cases.
Clare holds doctorates in both clinical and organizational Psychology along with an advance Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Her research interest have been using a unique intervention to treat mild to moderate scoliosis and developing a tool as a hand-saving device to perform manual therapy.
She specialized in treating patients with any musculoskeletal issues, especially the low back and SI joint.
Clare enjoys swimming, bicycling, running and hiking as well as hand crafts such as knitting and jewelry making
